Reservoir Geologist for International Activities

⚙️ Growing Sector: the energy industry is constantly evolving, and you’ll have the chance to be at the forefront of these industry dynamics.
Your main tasks:
- Petrophysical characterisation (porosity, permeability and saturation in gas/water), formation evaluation and static modelling of the deposit with the aid of specialist software;
- Quality analysis of available geophysical, petrophysical, stratigraphic and well data (formation evaluation, mudlogging, well correlation) and assess the possible need for integration through new acquisitions or reprocessing of existing data;
- Carry out analyses on the reliability of the geological data of the well and stratigraphic coming from surveys and specialized studies entrusted to contractors (analysis of cores in the laboratory, in-situ test interpretation, log acquisition, correlations, etc.);
- Ensure the verification of quality, robustness and completeness of all the reports and deliverables envisaged by any service contract with third party client.
- Within the multidisciplinary team in charge of asset evaluation for any new international UGS initiative, takes part to due diligence, data room and technical meetings, with responsibility for static geological modelling and petrophysical characterization aspects.
- Location of new planned wells for the enhancement of the storage activity (infilling, development, geognostici, etc.);
- Preparation of geological plans for new wells;
- Perform real-time data analysis with structural interpretation during the drilling of new wells, providing the structural mapping of the deposit;
- Evaluate the quality of data from SAR and CGPS satellite measurements, also performing the integration of different acquisitions for soil geo-dynamic characterization.
