Internship Planning & Control Decarbonization Projects

Internship P&C Decarbonization Projects

As part of the Decarbonization Projects Business Unit, we are looking for a brilliant candidate who will become part of the Planning & Control team, that deals with the development and monitoring of the budget and Snam's strategic plan . The main responsibilities will mainly concern the support to the following activities:


  • Monthly management reporting in order to provide top management with the correct information relating to business economics
  • Support to the P&C structure and Senior Controllers for ad hoc analysis
  • Analysis of the monthly progress of the final balance sheets in order to intervene to remedy any anomalies
  • Control of business opexes with variance analysis
  • Monitoring of correct cost allocations on systems
  • Coordination of Snam's centralized functions for the accounting of service services, in order to guarantee correctness and timeliness for monthly closures
  • Financial modelling of business cases

                Must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics or Management Engineering
  • Basic knowledge of accounting
  • Predisposition to the use of management systems
  • Good command Office package [especially Excel and Power point]


Nice to have

  • SAP Knowledge
  • Minimum previous experience in banks, consulting firms or medium-structured corporate companies
  • Knowledge of Financial Modelling
  • Interest in non-traditional businesses related to the energy transition
  • Proactivity, good interpersonal skills and predisposition to teamwork

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem solving
  • Excellent relational/communication skills and ability to interface with different stakeholders including senior figures
